| The Great Explorations
program provides hands-on learning, enrichment and
family-involvement activities after school and in the
summer. Designed to boost children's academic
performance and development, activities are open to
children in grades K-8 at Baraga, L'Anse, Chassell,
Adams Township (South Range), Hancock, Dollar Bay, Lake
Linden and CLK schools as well as children in grades K-5
at Houghton. Modest user fees help to support the
program and scholarships are available. For more
